Job summary

Ocado in Leeds is seeking a Driver to join our delivery operations. You will work 5 days out of 7, 7.5 hour shifts, with AM and PM start times, and a 37.5 hour contract.

The role is paid weekly with premiums applying to evenings and Sundays, and your base rate is £12.75 per hour with additional premiums. Applicants must hold a full UK or EU licence, have at least 12 months driving experience and no more than 6 penalty points, be 18+ to handle alcohol products, and communicate well with customers

Driver

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire, GB, LS1 3

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: 37.5 hours (including paid breaks)

Contracted Days: You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7, completing 7.5 hour shifts. This is subject to change at any time, and further information will be provided during pre-boarding.

Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure: This position is lunar paid, meaning you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please consider this when applying.

Hourly Pay Rates:

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £12.75
• Evening Premium (from 6pm): £1.12
• Sunday Day Premium: £1.28
• Sunday Evening Premium: £2.51
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £15.94
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £17.06

Additional Information:

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays. On top of your base pay, you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.41 per hour.
