Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring a Driver in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, with shifts including evenings and weekends. Premiums boost hourly earnings and breaks are paid.

You will be delivering groceries and providing friendly service to customers, while following planned routes via our automation system. Full UK or EU driving licence required, with at least 12 months’ experience and up to 6 penalty points.

What We Need From You

You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

Driving Licence Requirements

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.

As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Contract Details

• Type: Permanent
• Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
• Days: You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7 working 8 hour shifts, with further information during pre-boarding.
• Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Check your commute time prior to applying. Your shift rota will be provided up to 13 weeks in advance.
• Pay Structure: This position is lunar paid, with payments every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule.

Hourly Pay Rates

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £13.28
• Evening Premium (from 6pm): £14.40
• Sunday Day Premium: £14.61
• Sunday Evening Premium: £15.84
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £16.60
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £17.72
