Job summary

Ocado in the West Drayton area is seeking a delivery driver to join a customer-focused logistics team. You will deliver groceries to customers, using pre-planned routes and on-board tech to ensure on-time results.

Roles involve evening and weekend shifts with paid breaks; you will be supported by a training team and have opportunities for progression within Ocado Logistics.

So what do we need from you?

You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
• Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply

As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

We will run a Disclosure Barring System check (DBS). Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start!

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)

Contracted days: You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7 working 8 hour shifts, and will be provided with further information during pre-boarding.

Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure: This position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Hourly Pay Rates:

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate) £13.96
• Evening Premium (from 6pm) £1.12
• Sunday Day Premium £1.40
• Sunday Evening Premium £2.63
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift) £17.45
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift) £18.57
