Job summary

Ocado Logistics in Bracknell is looking for Customer Service Team Members to support on-road deliveries and ensure a quality customer experience. You’ll be on the road in all weather, using our route-planning tech to pre-load your van and keep breaks paid.

We offer a permanent 40-hour week with AM and PM shifts, including evenings and weekends, plus a benefits package: pension, digital health service, shopping discounts, life cover and more.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
• No previous experience required to join the team

You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like! In return, we use our automated technology to pre plan your route and pre-load your van! Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays. On top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.75 per hour.

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply. As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

Contract Type:

PermanentContract: Your contracted workweek is 40 hours, which will be scheduled as five 8-hour days within a seven day period.

Shifts:

AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time, and transport options, prior to applying for this position. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure:

The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate) £13.28
• Evening Premium (from 6pm) £1.12
• Sunday Day Premium £1.33
• Sunday Evening Premium £2.56
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift) £16.60
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift) £18.00
