Job summary

Eastern Western Motor Group in Edinburgh is seeking a Vehicle Transport & Support Assistant to join our operations. You will safely move vehicles between locations, assist with fuelling, cleaning and basic maintenance, and deliver excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.

You will also keep accurate records of vehicle movements, mileage and fuel usage, and help with routine inspections and reporting any issues to the management team. A UK right to work is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport vehicles between dealership locations, customer homes, and other destinations.
• Assist with fuelling, cleaning, and basic maintenance to present vehicles ready for customers.
• Provide excellent service during vehicle collections and deliveries, addressing inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and paperwork.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues to the Management Team.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent service during vehicle collections and deliveries, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Vehicle Inspection and Reporting: Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues to the Management Team.
