Job summary

NCR Atleos is hiring a Cash in Transit Officer in Bristol. You will help ensure the secure transport of cash between locations, working in driving or courier roles, solo or with a partner to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and ideally a CVIT SIA licence, with a joining bonus of £1,000 if held. Expect a 45-hour week across 4 days with overtime and weekend work on a rota basis.

• Valid Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CVIT SIA licence desired; if held, a £1,000 joining bonus is paid after probation.
• Conscientious driving with strict adherence to the Highway Code.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive or courier as assigned, solo or with a partner.
• Servicing ATMs by securing cash transport and deployment.
• Complete all required documentation in line with targets.
• Drive and park company vehicles safely, adhering to Health and Safety rules.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver service.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and branch management to address issues promptly.

• Job Title:Cash in Transit Officer
• Location: Bristol, BS5 0DW
• Salary: £35,766.10 per annum
• Joining bonus: £1,000 if you hold a valid CVIT SIA licence
• Shifts: 45 hours per week across 4 days (11.25 hours including paid breaks), with shifts between 4:20am and 8:00pm and weekend work on rota basis.

About the Role:

As a Cash in Transit Officer, you’ll help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash between locations, supporting service delivery while mitigating business risks.

No two shifts are alike. As a Cash in Transit Officer, you’ll switch between driving and courier duties, working solo or alongside a partner to keep operations running smoothly.

Main Responsibilities:

• Working alone or with a partner - either as a driver or a courier, depending on the assigned duties.
• Servicing ATM machines by ensuring the secure transportation and deployment of cash.
• Following company processes and completing all associated documentation in line with operational targets.
• Driving and parking company vehicles responsibly, in line with the Highway Code, company policy, and procedures to ensure compliance to all Health and Safety.
• Maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an efficient service to our customers.
• Communicating clearly with colleagues and the branch management team to ensure any issues or concerns are addressed within a reasonable timeframe and to a satisfactory standard.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to provide a continuous 10-year employment and education history (any gaps in employment history must be covered).
• Valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• Valid CVIT SIA licence is desirable. If you already hold one, you’ll receive a £1,000 bonus after completing probationary period. If not, you can obtain it through our fully funded training programme.
• Conscientious driving, with full adherence to the Highway Code at all times.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
