Job summary

Supply Desk in West Sussex is seeking a GCSE Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department on a full-time, long-term basis with the potential for permanent appointment. The role focuses on delivering drama across KS3 and KS4, guiding practical performances, coursework, and GCSE assessments.

You will plan engaging lessons, foster confidence and collaboration, support productions and enrichment activities, and work within a supportive department while upholding safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for theatre and performing arts.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching Drama across KS3 and GCSE.

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Potential Permanent Opportunity)
Pay: £130 - £241.71 per day (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through creativity, performance, and self-expression while helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed both on stage and in the classroom.

The successful candidate will teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, supporting students through practical performances, coursework, and written GCSE assessments.
