Job summary

Adler and Allan is recruiting a Drainage Engineer in Darlington for a permanent, full-time position. The role covers all aspects of drainage, including high-pressure jetting, working with vactors and boom operations, and confined space work.

You will complete site information on a tablet and adhere to health and safety policies. The candidate should have Street Works, HPWJ, confined spaces, a CSCS card, a full clean UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Street Works certification or experience required.
• HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting) knowledge or experience.
• Confined space ticket required.
• CSCS card holders preferred.
• Full clean UK driving licence essential.
• Right to work in the UK must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Carry out drainage tasks including high pressure water jetting.
• Operate vactors and boom as required.
• Work in confined spaces following safety procedures.
• Accurately complete site/works information on a tablet device.
• Follow health and safety policy and procedures at all times.
• General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment.
• Be part of the On-Call Rota.

More about the role:

All aspects of drainage including but not limited to:

• High Pressure Water Jetting.
• Working with vactors/operating the boom.
• Working in confined spaces
• Thorough completion of site/works information on a tablet device
• Conduct work in line with company health and safety policy and procedures
• General maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment.
• Be part of the On-Call Rota.
