Job summary

Adler and Allan Group in the UK is looking for a Drainage Jetting Engineer/Drainage Operative based at Brize Norton. The role is permanent, full-time and onsite, with up to four nights away to service customers and respond to call outs.

You will work independently or with a team, complete RAMS when required, maintain vehicles and equipment, liaise with clients on site, and help with site briefings and reporting. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a full clean UK driving licence, categories to operate Company vehicles up to 3.5tonne.
• Right to Work in UK is essential.
• RAMS documentation knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate independently or as part of a team to service customers, including tank and line testing, VR testing and tank dewatering; onsite training provided.
• Respond to call outs for critical issues.
• Occasionally act as site supervisor/lead operative and represent the company on site.
• Complete all works promptly, including paperwork submission to supervision.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure equipment, PPE and work items are in good order.
• Liaise with supervision regarding works and potential improvements.

Join our team as a Drainage Jetting Engineer and keep things flowing!

More about the role:

• Operating independently, or as part of team to perform and deliver service to all customers of the Company. This will include for example, tank and line testing, VR testing and tank dewatering. This is not an exhaustive list. Onsite training will be provided.
• Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
• To satisfy the duties of a site supervisor/lead operative when the occasion is presented. This will include attending site briefings as a company representative and on occasion, act as team leader.
• Carry out near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works in a timely manner; this includes all paperwork and submission to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.

Qualifications

About you:

• Must possess a full clean UK driving licence, categories to operate Company vehicles up to 3.5tonne.
• Working on and around Petrol Forecourts.
• Right to Work in UK is essential.
• Previous knowledge and experience of completing RAMS documentation. (advantageous)
• Willingness to undertake any additional training to increase capability of the division in supplying a service to customers.
