Adler and Allan is seeking a Drainage Operative in Manchester for a permanent, full-time onsite role with occasional night away. You will work independently or in a team to deliver drainage services, including tank testing, dewatering and responding to callouts.

Key duties include site representation, RAMS handling, and liaising with customers to discuss ongoing works and future services. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a full clean UK driving licence, categories to operate Company vehicles up to 3.5tonne.
• Right to Work in UK is essential.
• RAMS documentation knowledge advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Operate independently, or as part of a team to service customers; this includes tank and line testing, VR testing and tank dewatering.
• Respond to call outs for critical issues.
• Occasionally act as site supervisor/lead operative and represent the company onsite.
• Complete near miss and incident reporting; in-house training provided.
• Liaise with customers on site about ongoing works and future services.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure PPE and tools are in good order; report damages.
• Submit all paperwork to divisional supervision in a timely manner.
• Suggest improvements and opportunities to supervision.
• Perform other duties as qualified and capable.

Join our team as a Drainage Operative and keep things flowing!

More about the role:

• Operating independently, or as part of team to perform and deliver service to all customers of the Company. This will include for example, tank and line testing, VR testing and tank dewatering. This is not an exhaustive list. Onsite training will be provided.
• Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
• To satisfy the duties of a site supervisor/lead operative when the occasion is presented. This will include attending site briefings as a company representative and on occasion, act as team leader.
• Carry out near miss & potential incident reporting. In-house training will be provided.
• Liaison with customers on site to discuss on-going works and further services of the Company.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment, tools, PPE and other work items are in good order and repair and available for use at all times. You will be expected to inform supervision as soon as any damage is identified.
• Completion of all works in a timely manner; this includes all paperwork and submission to divisional supervision.
• Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
• Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.

Qualifications

• Must possess a full clean UK driving licence, categories to operate Company vehicles up to 3.5tonne.
• Working on and around Petrol Forecourts.
• Right to Work in UK is essential.
• Previous knowledge and experience of completing RAMS documentation. (advantageous)
• Willingness to undertake any additional training to increase capability of the division in supplying a service to customers.
