Lanes Group in Swindon is seeking an experienced drainage operative to support the Thames Water contract, delivering high‑pressure jetting and drainage maintenance across the region.

The role is permanent, full‑time with a 4 days on/4 days off pattern and a salary of £31,056 per annum. You will work with specialist equipment, ensure safety and customer service, and contribute to continuous improvement and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to residential sites to operate a high‑pressure water jet and restore drainage networks.
• Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems to a high standard.
• Record each job on the specialist equipment and log reports accurately.
• Run diagnostics and carries out repairs on drains.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold H&S practices.
