Job summary

MPJ Recruitment is seeking a Second Man Drainage Engineer in East Anglia to join a growing team. You will work closely with Senior Engineers on drainage repairs, investigations, and maintenance projects, enjoying genuine career progression and outdoor fieldwork.

The role offers a basic salary of £29,000–£34,000 (DOE) with overtime, a 4% annual bonus, full training, accommodation, meals and travel provided where applicable, plus a company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage repairs, excavations or CCTV surveying.
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with drainage repairs and excavations.
• Supporting CCTV drainage surveys and reporting.
• Using CAT & GENNY equipment to locate underground services.
• Working alongside Senior Engineers to diagnose and resolve drainage issues.
• Delivering excellent customer service on every job.
