Job summary

MPJ Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Second Man Drainage Engineer to join our expanding team in Ipswich. You will work outdoors on drainage repairs, investigations and maintenance projects alongside experienced Senior Engineers.

Responsibilities include assisting with repairs, CCTV surveys, locating underground services, and delivering excellent customer service. A hands-on, problem-solving attitude and a full UK driving license are essential. Training and progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage repairs, excavations or CCTV surveying.
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with drainage repairs and excavations.
• Supporting CCTV drainage surveys and reporting.
• Using CAT & GENNY equipment to locate underground services.
• Working alongside Senior Engineers to diagnose and resolve drainage issues.
• Delivering excellent customer service on every job.
