Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Development Services Representative for a 12-month secondment within the Drainage Field Team. The role involves extensive field work with developers, contractors and customers to manage drainage assets and ensure compliance, safety and quality on-site.

You’ll learn the drainage network, support customers with requirements, and help resolve issues while working in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Spend much of your time out on site, working with developers, contractors and customers who are building new drainage assets, connecting to our network, diverting existing sewers or planning work close to our assets.
• Help customers understand what's needed and ensure drainage assets are safe, reliable and built to last.
• Investigate issues such as unwanted water entering drainage systems or potential pollution risks, working with colleagues and contractors to resolve them.
• Explain technical concepts in a way that's easy to understand and handle challenging conversations when something isn't right.
• You’ll visit active development sites and work around construction activity, always prioritising safety.
