Job summary

Lanes Group in Crossness (Abbey Wood) is seeking a Drainage Engineer to join our Thames Water contract team. You will work in a two-person crew, travel between residential sites, and operate high-pressure water jetting to restore drainage networks.

The role requires flexible hours, on-call duties, and commitment to safety. We provide full training, PPE, and support to deliver practical, efficient solutions while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High Pressure Jetting equipment experience is useful but not essential.
• Experience with drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA, Confined Spaces) is advantageous.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a two-person team using HGV to operate high-pressure water jetting.
• Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report using the provided equipment.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
• Deliver excellent customer service while on site.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain PPE and site setup.
