The Drainage Technicians are responsible for attending domestic and commercial sites, investigating wastewater issues, and providing appropriate recommendations.

Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with commercial and domestic customers on site.
  2. Provide professional customer service and engage effectively with clients.
  3. Investigate and diagnose drainage issues via site surveys.
  4. Advise customers on solutions and carry out necessary work, including:
  5. Drain clearance
  6. De-scaling and root cutting
  7. Performing minor excavations and patch lining
  8. Preventative maintenance
  9. Operate high-pressure water jetters, CCTV survey equipment, and rods.
  10. Identify potential concerns and recommend additional work to customers.
  11. Interpret drainage drawings and work independently within areas of expertise.
  12. Promote brand awareness through professional appearance and technical knowledge.
  13. Share best practices with colleagues.
  14. Assist Regional Development Managers in regional success.
  15. Resolve operational, performance, or compliance issues within the territory to safeguard the brand’s reputation.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
  • At least 1 year’s experience in the drainage sector.
  • Ideally 1 year’s knowledge of plumbing principles.
  • Drainage tanker experience (preferred).
  • Full clean UK driving license with flexibility to travel.
  • CSCS card holder (preferred).
  • Proficiency with mobile devices (calls, photos, emails, CRM).
  • High-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) certification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • DBS check required during onboarding.
  • Ability to work on a 24-hour on-call rota.

Job Details
