Job summary

Lanes Group PLC in Glasgow is seeking a Drainage Assistant to join our depot teams. You will attend drainage issues, blockages, cleansing and reactive call outs as part of a two-person crew.

We offer training in high-pressure water jetting, confined space and spill response, with a focus on problem-solving, listening and teamwork, plus a customer-focused approach. The role is based at our Glasgow depot with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage or utility environments preferred.
• Willing to be trained in high-pressure jetting, confined space, spill response.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and concentration.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Due to company growth, we are looking to appoint a Drainage Assistant to join our dynamic Depot teams. Working as part of a two person teams, you will be responsible for attending drainage related issues such as blockages, pipe clearing, cleansing and reactive call outs.

• Location: Glasgow
• Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
  

About you:

Applicants should ideally have experience in the above ideally from a utility or similar background.

Lanes Group will provide all training required for the role such as high-pressure water jetting, confined space, spill response, etc.

You can become a successful Utilities Waste-Water Technician if you have problem-solving, listening, critical thinking, teamworking abilities and a customer focused approach. Also, as you need to operate machinery, excellent hand-eye coordination and concentration are essential skills.
