Job summary

Sainsbury's is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver groceries directly to customers’ doorsteps in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van. You’ll be the face of the brand, ensuring a friendly, helpful delivery experience and keeping customers informed of any delays.

Candidates should be over 18 with a full UK licence for 12+ months, have right to work in the UK, and be able to lift up to 15 kg. You may also assist in-store when not delivering.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 with a full UK/EU licence for 12+ months and ≤6 points
• Right to Work in the UK
• Willingness to travel delivering at customer doorsteps
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg containers

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to customers on time and in good condition
• Complete checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean and organised
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying locations and conditions
• Communicate with customers and inform them of delays or changes to orders
• Support the store team when not out delivering
