Job summary

Scotsman Group in Glasgow is seeking professional, reliable Door Supervisors to join our security team across our venues. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they are greeted in a friendly manner while controlling access and addressing security issues.

The ideal candidate holds a valid SIA Door Supervisor badge, has about 2 years in a similar role, excellent communication and customer service skills, and availability for shifts including late nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor Badge required.
• 2 years experience in a similar role preferred.

The Role

We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Door Supervisors to join our dynamic team of Security Staff in our venues. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all guests at our venues. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they are greeted with a friendly and approachable manner, while also managing access and handling any security-related issues.

Role Responsibilities

As part of the security team, your role will include:

• Monitoring and managingcrowds and queues
• Dealing withconflict; restraining and escorting customers off of the premises if required
• Ensuring thesafety of customers and staff at all times

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Badge is mandatory for this role
• 2 years experiencewithin a similar role would be preferred.
• Great communication and customer service skillswith the ability to diffuse high tension situations.
• Availability towork shifts, including late nights and weekends at key times during the year.
