Job summary

Scotsman Group is seeking professional Door Supervisors for our Glasgow venues to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment and manage access for guests.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Badge, have around 2 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Availability for late nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor Badge.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with ability to diffuse tense situations.
• Availability to work shifts, including late nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage crowds and queues.
• Deal with conflict; restrain and escort customers off premises if required.

The Role:
We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Door Supervisors to join our dynamic team of Security Staff in our venues. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all guests at our venues. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they are greeted with a friendly and approachable manner, while also managing access and handling any security-related issues.

Role Responsibilities:

As part of the security team, your role will include:

• Monitoring and managing crowds and queues
• Dealing with conflict; restraining and escorting customers off of the premises if required
• Ensuring the safety of customers and staff at all times

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Badge is mandatory for this role
• 2 years experience within a similar role would be preferred.
• Great communication and customer service skills with the ability to diffuse high tension situations.
• Availability to work shifts, including late nights and weekends at key times during the year.
