Job summary

RGE Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Door Entry / Access Control Engineer to service, maintain and fault-find door entry and access control systems across Epsom, Guildford, Kent and surrounding areas for commercial, social housing and town centre properties. A full UK driving licence is required and you will work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' experience with intercom/door entry systems (ENTROTEC preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years' experience with access control systems (INTRATONE, PAC, ENSIGN preferred).
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of door entry and access control systems.
• Work on new installations and reactive maintenance contracts.
• Upgrade and commission systems to current industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and residents.
• Accurate completion of job reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Job Title: Door Entry / Access Control Engineer
Location: Epsom, Guildford and Kent.
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Door Entry / Access Control Engineer to join our growing fire team covering Epsom, Guildford, Kent and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of door entry and access control systems across a range of commercial, social housing, and town centre properties. Assistance may be required on 2nd fix installations from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of door entry and access control systems
• Working on both new installations and reactive maintenance contracts
• Upgrading and commissioning systems to current industry standards
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and residents
• Accurate completion of job reports and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years' experience working with intercom/door entry systems (ideally including ENTROTEC)
• Minimum 2+ years' experience working with access control systems (ideally including INTRATONE, PAC, and ENSIGN)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within social housing environments
• Experience working in town centre / high-footfall commercial environments

Salary & Benefits

• £38,000 – £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
