Get Staff is seeking an experienced Door Entry & Access Control Service Engineer to join a permanent, full-time team operating across social housing and commercial environments in East London.

You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard, while providing reliable customer service and managing your own workload.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with door entry and access control systems.
• Experience across installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Strong technical ability with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a wider team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in social housing, commercial environments or life safety/security disciplines is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on door entry and access control systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring systems remain safe and operational.
• Manage daily workloads effectively, including accurate job logging, timesheets and service documentation.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
• Provide a professional, flexible and customer-focused service across a range of sites.
• Participate in overtime and an out-of-hours on-call rota when required.
