Job summary

4way Recruitment is recruiting for an Access Control and Door Entry Service Engineer in East London. You will carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on door entry and access control systems, with a company vehicle supplied.

The role requires hands-on installation, servicing and repairs, strong fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team. You’ll also cover an out-of-hours on-call rota, log works in the system, and complete timesheets to deadlines while

• Up to £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities - Access Control and Door Entry Service Engineer

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on door entry and access control systems
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
• Covering the out-of-hours on-call rota
• Working flexibly to manage weekly workload, including overtime when requiredLogging completed works accurately via the company's job management system
• Completing timesheets and required documentation to deadline
• Working in line with company health & safety procedures

Skills and experience - Access Control and Door Entry Service Engineer

• Proven experience in door entry and access control systems — other trade disciplines advantageous
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with installation, servicing and repairs
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred
