Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland is recruiting for a part‑time Donor Carer Driver based in Glasgow to support blood donation activities. You will care for donors, load and unload equipment, and transport staff to sessions while travelling across the region.

A PCV or D class license is required, and you will operate within the health care setting with standard induction and PVG checks. The role offers hybrid working options and is open to flexible hours, including Sundays and late evenings, with

Qualifications

• Higher level education; experience in health care or customer‑focussed environment.
• Excellent keyboard skills written and oral communication.
• Sound knowledge of the geography of the region; willingness to travel across Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Care for donors throughout the blood donation process.
• Load/unload and assemble donor equipment and transport staff and equipment to sessions.
• Travel to sessions across Glasgow region; perform donor carer duties including venepuncture where required.
