Job summary

Pilgrims Hospices is seeking a part-time Retail Driver to support day-to-day collection and delivery of donations from the Tivoli Brooks Warehouse. You will work under the Warehouse and Logistics Manager and Driver Supervisor, handling donations and responding to customer queries with sensitivity.

The role emphasizes manual handling, loading/packing, and learning about donated items while contributing to Gift Aid growth and the charitable mission of Pilgrims Hospices.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual handling on a daily basis.
• Experience driving a variety of vehicles with a clean license.
• Good loading and packing skills.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Ability to interact with customers and volunteers sensitively.
• Willingness to learn about donated items.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport donations safely and responsibly.
• Interact with customers and handle queries with sensitivity.
• Maintain and grow Gift Aid processes.
• Assist in clearance and sorting of donations in the warehouse.
