About the role

Sense is recruiting a Warehouse Assistant to work 37.5 hours per week at our donation station in East Grinstead on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we expand our network of over 120 shops. We seek a leader who can inspire a team, uphold high standards, and deliver excellent operational and customer service to maximize income for the charity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building, training, and motivating a team of volunteers
  • Maintaining high shop standards, engaging customers, and managing stock generation and community involvement

Our shops are vital in raising awareness and funds to support our work, with over four million customers annually.

Skills and experience required:

  • Self-motivated, creative, excellent communicator, and committed to charity retail
  • Experience in team leadership and delivering outstanding customer service
  • Attention to detail to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
  • Experience in retail or team leadership roles

This role requires flexibility to work Bank Holidays and weekends as needed.
