Job summary

Specsavers in the United Kingdom is seeking a domiciliary optometrist to deliver eye care at patients’ homes across your assigned territory. You will assess, diagnose, and manage ocular health while supporting patients who cannot visit stores in person.

You’ll work within a compassionate team, providing high-quality service and flexible hours, with a company car or allowance and a comprehensive benefits package included in the role.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Must have a full driving license.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and bedside manner.
• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide domiciliary eye care to patients in their homes.
• Deliver high-quality eye health assessments and management.
• Coordinate with Specsavers teams and referral pathways as needed.

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a domiciliary optometrist at Specsavers, you can do just that. You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.

Based on the south coast of England, you’ll cover a given territory, providing care to patients in their own homes.

Our cars

You’ll be provided with a company car (or allowance) to bring your care directly to people’s homes.
