Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a domiciliary optometrist to bring eye care directly to patients in their homes across eastern Scotland, including areas like Edinburgh and Haddington. You will drive to visit patients, perform examinations, and support basic tasks to enhance daily living while maintaining strong customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Full driving license required.
• Confident, passionate about customer service and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a domiciliary optometrist at Specsavers, you can do just that. You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.

Our business

Based on the east coast, covering areas such as Edinburgh, Livingstone, Haddington, Peebles,Galashiels etc, you’ll cover a given territory, providing care to patients in their own homes.

We have a wonderful dedicated team ready and waiting for you to meet.

Our cars

You’ll be provided with a company car (or allowance) to bring your care directly to people’s homes.
