Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions is launching a new domiciliary care service in Torquay. The Registered Manager will lead the CQC registration, recruit and develop the initial care team, and help shape values, governance and the operating model from day one.

The role offers flexible part-time hours (roughly 20–25 per week) with potential to grow as the service expands, and close collaboration with the owner and local professionals to deliver person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in adult social care with senior/management exposure.
• Registered with CQC or eligible to apply for registration and Fit Person Interview.
• Level 5 Diploma or equivalent qualification in leadership and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the agency through the CQC registration process and ensure compliance.
• Shape service values, culture and operating model with the owner.
• Develop governance, policies and quality assurance systems.
• Recruit, induct and develop the initial care team for the new service.
• Contribute to client assessments and onboarding of new clients.
• Build relationships with local commissioners and care professionals.
• Support launch preparations and guide sustainable growth.
