Job summary

Olive Recruit is seeking an experienced Registered Manager for a domiciliary care branch in Ashford. You will lead the day-to-day operations, drive service improvement, and work to convert Requires Improvement into a strong CQC rating.

The role focuses on growing weekly care hours and delivering safe, person-centred care. You will manage and develop the Care Coordinator and Field Supervisor, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care.
• Strong track record of improving branch performance and increasing care hours.
• Good knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality improvement.
• Experience leading teams and implementing operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care branch, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and organisational policies.
• Lead, support and develop the Care Coordinator and Field Supervisor to maintain an effective and motivated team.
• Implement improvement plans to address the current CQC rating of Requires Improvement and work towards achieving a better inspection outcome.
• Drive business growth by increasing care hours from the current level of over 800 per week.
• Monitor service quality, identify operational weaknesses and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all care delivery meets regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, local authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor branch performance against operational targets and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and person-centred care.
• Participate in the shared on-call rota, including weekday and weekend cover.
