Job summary

Bluebird Care Rochdale is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team providing high-quality in-home care. You will support customers with daily living tasks, follow care plans, and work as part of a supportive team to maintain independence and dignity for our clients.

Responsibilities include helping with meals, medication support, personal care, light housekeeping, and building trusting relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow care plans.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but full training provided.

• Help with meal planning, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for all customers.
