Job summary

Bluebird Care Rochdale is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes across Rochdale Borough and Whitworth. You’ll work independently or as part of a supportive team, delivering high-quality daily living assistance with dignity and respect.

We offer expert training, flexible shifts, a full induction, uniform and PPE, a probation bonus of £300, and a friendly team with 24/7 support. A driving licence and access to a car are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required; full training is provided.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Calm, compassionate attitude and a patient approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with meals, nutrition, and light housekeeping
• Support with medications and safe disposal where required
• Be a friendly, dependable presence for customers in their homes

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
