Job summary

Vivid Community Care is seeking a Day Domiciliary Health Care Assistant in London to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs within the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

The role involves personal care, meals, medications, promoting independence, and helping users access community activities while upholding safeguarding and safety standards. Flexible shifts include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting individuals with autism or learning disabilities.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
  • Training in Autism Awareness and/or Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and medication
  • Promoting independence and empowering individuals to make their own choices
  • Assisting with household tasks and maintaining a safe, clean environment
  • Supporting service users to access community and social activities
  • Upholding safeguarding, health & safety, and well-being standards
  • Building strong, positive relationships and maintaining accurate care records

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and medication
