Job summary

HealthJobs4U Ltd is seeking compassionate Community Care Assistants to support clients in their homes across the Gloucestershire area. Roles include helping with personal care, mobility, and domestic tasks, with a focus on enabling independence and quality of life.

We offer paid travel time and mileage, paid shadow shifts, and a supportive team. Full and part-time contracts available, with shift patterns including mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering domiciliary care or similar support in the community.
• Ability to promote wellbeing and independence at home.
• Strong communication with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing and feeding.
• Support mobility and safe use of aids.
• Provide companionship and respite within the home.
• Assist with domestic tasks such as washing, ironing, cleaning and shopping.

About the Role:

We are looking for compassionate and committed individuals to join our team asCommunity Care Assistants, delivering a variety of domiciliary support services to our clients in the community. Whether you’re new to care or already experienced, we’d love to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

• Assisting with personal care - washing, dressing, toileting, food preparation and feeding
• Assisting with mobility, encouraging safety and appropriate use of aids
• Acting as a companion within the home to allow relative periods of respite
• Providing practical support in the home, to include washing, ironing, cleaning and shopping

Essential requirements:

• Full UK Driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
• Be passionate about promoting the mental, spiritual & physical wellbeing of the individuals we support
• Be an excellent communicator
• Be able to demonstrate a passion for providing high quality care which both enables individuals to live independently at home and to access their local community
• Have good organisational skills and team working skills
• Effective time management skills
• Have an ability to work independently following verbal or written instructions
• Be committed to progressing a career in Adult Social Care
• Be able to obtain Business Insurance

Working Pattern:

• Full time and part time guaranteed hours contracts
• Mornings: 6:30am - 2:30pm
• Evenings: 3:30pm - 10pm / 10:30pm
• Alternate weekends

Potential for those wanting school hours, but you must be available for alternate weekends and throughout the school holidays
