Job summary

Continuity of Care Services is seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant to provide in-home support in Maidstone. You will help clients with daily tasks, maintain independence, and enhance quality of life in community settings.

The role involves travel and requires driving. We offer full-time or part-time hours, with shifts covering early and late periods and alternating weekends. Training is provided and mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care or support role is preferred but not required.
• Genuine passion for helping others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient nature.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, e.g. personal care, meal preparation, and light house keeping.
• Must drive and have access to a vehicle.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Follow individualized care plans and report any changes in clients conditions to supervisors.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

Domiciliary Care Assistant

Salary: from £12.96 to £13.96 with enhanced rate for UK public holidays

Closing: 27/08/2026

Working Hours: 6:45am-1:00pm and 3:00pm-10:00pm

Location: Maidstone

Job Type: We offer full time or part-time hours. Shifts are from 6:45am-1:00pm and 3:00pm -10:00pm and must include alternate weekends.

Salary: Rates of pay starting from £12.96 per hour + paid mileage and travel time, in addition to your hourly rate

Must be able to drive with the use of own car.
