Job summary

Bristol City Council is recruiting for a permanent, part-time Domestic Post based in Bristol. The role is 24 hours per week with weekend and public holiday working on a two-week rota. Shifts are 6 hours, 8am–2pm or 2pm–8pm, and include occasional kitchen/domestic duties.

Job description

Permanent, Part Time 24 hours per week

We currently have a Domestic Post (to include some weekend and public holiday working, over a 2 week rota. Shifts are 6 hours and include both morning and evening working, between the hours of 8am - 2pm, and 2pm - 8pm).

You will demonstrate the ability to interact appropriately with residents who are frail and have mental health needs/Dementia, and a commitment to deliver high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.

In addition to general cleaning both posts will require staff to undertake work as a kitchen domestic on a rota basis.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
