Job summary

Bristol City Council is seeking care staff for Redfield Lodge on a permanent part-time basis. Roles include 30 hrs/week, 24 hrs/week, or 18 hrs/week on a 2-week rota with every other weekend and some public holidays.

You will care for people who are physically frail and may have dementia, delivering personal care to a high standard while promoting independence and dignity. DBS enhanced check is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care setting is an advantage.
• NVQ2 or QCF2 in care is desirable, or willingness to undertake relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents to a high standard, maintaining independence and dignity.
• Support residents living with frailty and dementia as part of the care team.

All the above posts are on a 2 week rota which includes every other weekend working and some public holiday working.

We require caring staff to join or team at Redfield Lodge.

You will work with people who are physically frail and also have mental health needs/Dementia; you will demonstrate the ability to provide personal care to a high standard, in a way that helps people maintain their independence and dignity.

Previous experience of working in a care setting is an advantage, and a NVQ2 or QCF 2in care is also desirable, or a willingness to undertake relevant training.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
