Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join our Retirement Living Plus development, Talbot Court in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The role covers domestic support, laundry, and cleaning of communal areas, with an hourly rate of £12.85 for 20 hours per week.

You will also assist in the Bistro during service times and provide lifestyle services including social support to homeowners. Applications from UK-based candidates only.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer care or service role within a similar environment, such as health & social care, hospitality, retail, domestic services or caring for a family member.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic support and housekeeping for homeowner apartments, laundry service, and cleaning of communal areas within the development.
• Support in the Bistro or Restaurant during service times and provide lifestyle services to homeowners.
• Chaperone homeowners to medical appointments or offer social and community-related support.
• Overtime opportunities may be available within nearby developments.

You will support in the Bistro or Restaurant during service times and provide lifestyle services to our homeowners.

These include, chaperoning homeowners to medical appointments, and/or other community related services, or simply offering social support.

There are usually opportunities for overtime within nearby developments as well.
