Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Domestic Assistant for our Retirement Living Plus development, Talbot Court in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. You will manage domestic tasks for homeowner apartments, handle laundry, and maintain communal areas.

Role includes supporting in the Bistro during service and delivering lifestyle services, such as companionship and appointments assistance. A caring, reliable communicator is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic support and housekeeping for homeowner apartments and communal areas.
• Handle laundry services and assist with cleaning duties as required.
• Support in the Bistro during service times and contribute to resident wellbeing.
• Offer lifestyle services and social support, including companionship where appropriate.
• Chaperone residents to medical appointments or assist with community-related tasks.

McCarthy & Stone are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join the team at our Retirement Living Plus development, Talbot Court in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

This is not traditional care, this is better!

Hourly rate: £12.85per hour ( inclusive of weekend work)

About the role:

As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for the domestic support and housekeeping, of our homeowner apartments, their laundry service and cleaning or the development’s communal areas . You will support in the Bistro or Restaurant during service times and provide lifestyle services to our homeowners . These include, chaperoning homeowners to medical appointments, and/or other community related services, or simply offering social support . There are usually opportunities for overtime within nearby developments as well.
