Build Recruitment are seeking a Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to cover Cornwall, responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic gas appliances in social housing properties.

You will work to Gas Safe regulations, hold ACS qualifications, and enjoy benefits including a £42,000 salary, company van, relocation assistance up to £4,000, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current Gas Safe registration.
• ACS qualifications including CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• City & Guilds Energy Efficiency qualification.
• Previous domestic gas servicing and breakdown experience.
• Experience working on social housing or housing association contracts.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A full DBS check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out domestic gas servicing, repairs and breakdowns.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently.
• Completing all work in line with Gas Safe regulations.
• Ordering parts and managing jobs through to completion.
• Using a PDA to update jobs and record completed work.
• Liaising with tenants and clients.
• Taking part in the company call-out rota.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Build Recruitment are currently working with a leading provider of heating, maintenance and renewable energy services within the social housing sector, who are looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to cover Cornwall.

The Role
