Job summary

North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions is hiring a Facilities Assistant (Domestic) to support cleaning at The Friarage Hospital, Northallerton. The role is available as full-time or part-time (20 hours per week with flexible hours) and is a permanent post.

You will be part of a dedicated team, maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment and complying with COSHH and health and safety policies, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital / cleaning experience
• COSHH and health and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Clean and conduct domestic duties as guided by team leaders
• Organise day-to-day cleaning duties to suit ward/department needs
• Clean beds, floors, toilets, sinks, and general areas to high standards
• Perform deep and specialised cleans and participate in ward decants
• Change bay curtains and bed drapes; clean blinds
• Work with ward/department team to respond to priorities and follow safety policies
