Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) is recruiting for a part-time Facilities Assistant (Domestic) to deliver high-quality domestic, catering and portering services across hospital and health settings. The role requires flexibility to work across sites and weekend/Bank Holidays as part of IFM services.

The post holder will perform cleaning, waste handling, and liaise with delivery drivers.

Qualifications

• NVQ in cleaning or equivalent.
• Basic Numeracy.
• Basic Health & Safety Certificate.
• Previous cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality domestic, catering, and portering services.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment across hospital sites.
• Liaise with delivery drivers and direct delivery vehicles onto Trust sites.
• Undertake cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas and related tasks.
• Follow National Standards of Cleanliness and safety procedures.
