Job summary

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided.
• Experience of working with the general public is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think quickly.

Responsibilities

• Move patients by bed/trolley/wheelchair between wards and departments.
• Collect and deliver laundry, pharmacy boxes, bedding and furniture.
• Exchange medical gas cylinders.
• Collect and deliver specimens, blood bags and medical records.
• Clean wheelchairs and trolleys after use.
• Provide driver cover for hospital vehicles when needed.
