Job summary

Guinness is seeking a Domestic Cleaner to join Hart Plain House in Waterlooville on a part-time, permanent basis. This role covers 10 hours per week, mornings Monday to Friday, supporting our elderly residents by keeping all communal areas clean to a high standard.

You will follow COSHH guidelines, work as part of a friendly team, report minor repairs to management, and promote good health and safety. IT-literate candidates with cleaning experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and COSHH guidelines.
• Understanding of the needs of particular client groups, e.g. the elderly.
• IT Literate

Responsibilities

• To work as part of a team to ensure that all areas within the building are clean and tidy.
• To maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored securely according to COSHH guidelines.
• To report minor repairs to management.
• To wash paintwork and clean windows and doors as required.
• Be a Guinness champion by following and promoting policies and procedures, with particular attention to standards of customer service, health and safety, and equality and diversity.

About the role

We have a new opportunity for a Domestic Cleaner to join our scheme, Hart Plain House in Waterlooville, on a part time, permanent basis.

The successful individual will be working 10 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, working each morning.

You will be assisting the team in maintaining all communal areas of the building to a high standard whilst having a sensitive and supportive approach to our elderly residents.
