Job summary

Hillcroft Care Home in Town Green seeks a reliable Domestic Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues.

This is a vital role with high standards of housekeeping to support the health and wellbeing of everybody living and working here. You will follow a cleaning schedule, assist with laundry, manage waste safely and work in line with COSHH principles.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Basic understanding of COSHH principles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas and corridors according to schedule.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, polish and sanitise surfaces and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of waste safely following local policies.
• Assist with laundry duties.
• Work in compliance with COSHH regulations.

Key responsabilities:

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, corridors as per the required schedule.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, polish and sanitise all surfaces fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and dispose of waste safely and segregate waste in line with local policies.
• Assist with Laundry duties as required.
• Work alongside COSHH regulations.
• Previous experience is required to fullfil this position. A knowledge and basic understanding of COSHH principles is desirable.
