St Elizabeth’s Centre in Hertfordshire is seeking a part-time Domestic Cleaner to join our Domestic Services Team. You will help maintain clean classrooms, care homes, and communal areas, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

The role offers varied shifts (25h, 20h, 25h) with a supportive induction, DBS check, and on-site parking. If you value teamwork and have a pride in cleanliness, apply to join us in making a difference.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and emptying bins.
• Clean toilets and washrooms to high hygiene standards and restock supplies.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules while being responsive to ad-hoc requests.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
• Report any faults or maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete cleaning stock orders and keep records up to date.
• Work in line with COSHH and Health & Safety procedures
• Undertake relevant training and support wider team needs where required.

Location: St Elizabeth’s Centre, Much Hadham, HertfordshireSalary: £13,125 - £16,519 per annum (£12.71 per hour) Contract Type: Permanent | Part-time

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 20 - 25 hours per week

Available shift patterns:

• 7:00am - 12:00pm (25 hours per week)
• 10:00am - 2:00pm (20 hours per week)
• 4:00pm - 9:00pm (25 hours per week)

About the Role

As a cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic spaces for the people we support and the teams that care for them.
