Job summary

Agincare's Chalgrove Care Home in Westbourne, Poole, is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to create a welcoming, clean environment for residents and visitors. The role focuses on maintaining a warm, tidy home where cleanliness supports high-quality care and comfort.

Responsibilities include cleaning communal areas, dusting and maintaining residents' rooms with safety signage, and working with the team to uphold top hygiene standards while showing kindness to residents throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK (minimum 12 months) required.
• Positive attitude and pride in your work.
• Experience in housekeeping, hospitality or related roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by keeping communal areas clean, tidy and safe for residents, visitors and colleagues.
• Care for residents' rooms with pride, dusting, polishing and vacuuming to a high standard with proper safety signage.
• Collaborate with the management team to maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Show kindness through small interactions that brighten residents’ day.
