Job summary

Beaumont-Care-Homes is seeking a Domestic Assistant (30 hours per week) to maintain a hygienic, safe and homely environment for residents, visitors and staff. You will carry out cleaning duties, support independence and work as part of a caring team.

Full training is provided; competitive salary and generous holiday entitlement. Includes shift work on rota, free onsite parking, a free uniform and Nest workplace pension contributions.

• Previous experience in a similar environment.

• understand cleaning requirements of differing communal and individual locations in the home along with the equipment and the properties of cleaning materials required
• develop positive relationships with residents, staff, residents’ families and visitors
• help residents maintain their independence and sense of value
• work safely within company policies, seeking advice and guidance when necessary
• your caring nature and positive attitude will allow you to give the best possible service to the residents in our care
• as a team player you enjoy communication and provide energy and hard work for a changing environment

As a Domestic Assistant you are the key to the hygienic and safe environment in which our residents live. Domestic Assistant will:

• carry out all of their duties to ensure that we always provide a high level of cleanliness
