Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Domestic Cleaner to join the team at Wythenshawe Hospital. You will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors, contributing to positive health outcomes throughout the hospital.

You’ll perform daily cleaning tasks across patient rooms, wards and communal spaces, strip and launder linen, and ensure surfaces are hygienic. Training and a supportive team await you.

Responsibilities

• Perform dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and replenishing supplies.
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse per hospital protocols.
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Job Introduction

We’re looking for a Domestic Cleaner to join our Sodexo team at Wythenshawe Hospital. What you’ll do:

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas
• Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing
• Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment
• Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols
