Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Domestic Cleaner for Wythenshawe Hospital. You will help create a safe, clean environment for patients, staff and visitors, focusing on hygiene and patient wellbeing.

The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in delivering exceptional service within a hospital setting. Your duties include cleaning patient areas, servicing wards and common spaces, linen handling, and maintaining safe, hygienic conditions across the facility while adhering to hospital

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas
• Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing
• Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment
• Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors
